About the Role
FTS Federal, Inc. is expanding our AFCEC team on-site at Tyndall Air Force Base. We are looking for an entry-level Engineer working in Facilities in Electrical Advisory/Assistance to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing assessments of current state and providing mitigation suggestions that will result in improvements as well as contributing to process developments in various utilities improvements and base-assessments. These findings will be reported in briefings to the base leadership. This position focuses primarily on Power/Electrical projects.
Requirements
Position Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent discipline
Fundamental knowledge in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of MS Suite as a user, including Excel and basic Power Point
Detail oriented and deadline focused
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Position Responsibilities
Perform assessments of the current state of utilities, specifically electrical
Provide assistance on suggestions of remediations, upgrades, scope of work, and cost effectiveness solutions
Draft and complete documentation of current state, photographically and digitally
Complete departing briefs on findings and provide suggestions for immediate remediations and upgrades versus planned upgrades over the next series of annual budgets
