Through analyzing data and business processes we are able to bring value to customers, utilizing their existing mass data. There is no shortage of data in the public sector, however getting valuable, real-time insights is often a challenge. FTS has the following opportunity available: Tier 1 Support Location: Fort Meade, MD Position Requirements:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems. Customer Service oriented phone skills are are requirement. Escalation of Tier 2 tickets is a requirement. This position requires TS clearance.
Experience:
2 years of related experience + a BS degree (or 5 additional years)
At least one (1) year experience in the following:
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Ticketing Systems (preferably Remedy)
A+ Certification or Security+ required
Preferred Skillset:
Experience in a ticket management system like Remedy, is not required, but is a plus.
Unix experience is not required, but is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Five (5) years of working Tier 1 experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
